Major Responsibilities
 
Responsible for assisting in all administrative and customer service related functions. Under supervision, performs complex
administrative duties following established procedures in all benefits-related areas. This position relies on instructions and pre- established policies, procedures and guidelines to maintain and process benefit-related records, requests and inquiries.
 
 
Role Responsibilities
 
  • Handle incoming requests from customers and ensure that issues are resolved both promptly and thoroughly.
  • Provide forms and other benefit related materials upon request to clients/employees. May be expected to demonstrate knowledge of benefit plan billing, payroll deductions, and Flexible Spending Accounts.
  • Responsible for normal company clerical and administrative duties.
  • Assist in research requests, including timely responses to audit inquiries; may assit in developing and preparing reports, letters, and spreadsheets.
  • Enters benefit related information into Benefit Administration database according to established procedures.
  • Updates and maintains benefits related procedures as necessary.
 
 
 
Professional Qualifications
 
Knowledge - level of education required, special certifications or licenses
 
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
 
 
Skills - job-specific knowledge and abilities, general business acumen, other required skills
